What fun to see how your mind works and what kind of rabbit holes you fall into.

This sentence made me laugh out loud: I imagine “Red Iron” is the name of some busty, strawberry blonde riding through the Wild West righting wrongs and breaking hearts with her trusty six-shooter.

Love your work it as always. I saw the family as an animated story. It was just so clear. Your writing and imagination and clarity make me feel like I am in good hands. I'd follow you over a cliff. So happy you are giving us stories. Our lives are better for them.

Love this Susan and I can't wait to read it! I am reminded of two things: Blue Eye Samurai (historical setting/towns and villages) and Forged in Fire - every-once-in-a-while they make an old timey weapon using old timey ways...
